EdnaBioSpin Gel Filtration Column comes in a ready-to-use form for rapid and efficient clean-up and purification of nucleic acids and proteins using a micro-centrifuge.

The columns are packed with proprietary Edna gel filtration resins which produce very efficient, non-interactive size separations.

EdnaBioSpin Gel Filtration Columns are suitable for use with 1.5 or 2.0 mL micro-centrifuge tubes and are completely autoclavable

Gel Matrix: Edna gel filtration resins suspended in 1.0 ml of proprietary buffer.

Sample Application Volumes: Nucleic acids, proteins, and peptides, 20 – 75 μL. Volumes less than 20 μL may affect recovery.

Exclusion Limits: Edna gel filtration 6 resin – 5 base pairs (nucleic acids) or 6,000 daltons (proteins, peptides).

Edna gel filtration 30 resin – 20 base pairs (nucleic acids) or 40,000 daltons (proteins, peptides).

Chemical Stability: Stable at pH 2 – 10, and in common aqueous buffers, formamide, dilute organic acids, alcohol, 20% (V/V) other chaotropic agents, detergents.

Shipment & Storage: Shipment temperature at room temperature. For short term storage at room temperature and long term storage at 4 °C. Shelf life is 1 year at 4 °C.

EdnaBioSpin Gel Filtration Columns are generally used for –
