Product Description
The Bradford Protein Assay is a fast, cost-effective method to measure protein concentration. It uses Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 (CBBG) dye, which binds to proteins and shifts absorbance from 465 nm to 595 nm. By measuring absorbance of known BSA standards, a regression equation is generated to estimate unknown protein concentrations. BSA is preferred due to its high sensitivity in this assay.
