Ultra-Nuclease, Recombinant from Edna Biolabs is produced recombinantly by expressing gene for endonuclease from
Serratia marcescens in E. coli. The product is then purified to purity > 99% using proprietary purification techniques developed by Edna Biolabs. The product is protease free and degrades all forms of DNA and RNA (single stranded, double stranded, linear and circular) and is effective over a wide range of operating conditions.

Source: An E. coli strain that carries the gene for endonuclease from Serratia marcescens. This product is guaranteed bovine-free. No animal products were employed during the preparation of product.

• Unit Definition: One unit will digest sonicated salmon sperm DNA to acid-soluble oligonucleotides equivalent to a ΔA260 of 1.0 in 30 min at pH 8.0 at 37 °C
