Product Description
Edna Carboxypeptidase B (CPB) is a 35.1kDa protein consisting of 307 amino acids. It sequentially cleaves C-terminal Lysine,
arginine and Histidine residues. It shows activity in the pH range of 5-12 with maximum activity at pH 8. CPB has pI value of ~6. CPB activity depends on ZN+2 ions. CPB activity increases with the increase in temperature.
Source: An E. coli strain which expresses Rat Carboxypeptidase B.
