Chymotrypsin, Lyophilized, Mass Spectrometry Grade

Chymotrypsin is a serine protease that selectively cleaves at the C-terminal of aromatic residues, particlarly those of Phenylalanine, Tyrosine and Tryptophan. The product is highly purified with multiple chromatography steps and further treated withTosyl-L-lysyl-chloromethane hydrochloride (TLCK) to inactivate any trypsin activity which may be present without affecting chymotrypsin activity.

The product includes a vial of the lyophilized enzyme and a vial of resuspension buffer (1 mM HCl), along with 2X chymotrypsin reaction buffer compatible with mass spectrometry systems.
