EdnaPRO Digestion Improver

EdnaPRO Digestion Improver is a surfactant which enhances the performance of Trypsin, Chymotrypsin, Lys-C and other proteases when added to mass spectrometry digestion reactions. It can be used for both in-gel and solution digests. The surfactant improves the recovery of longer peptides in the gel extraction step, and when added to solution it enhances the solubility of the protein and increases the accessibility of the protease to difficult-to-reach cleavage sites. The surfactant degrades over the course of the reaction, and is therefore compatible with subsequent LC and MS steps.

What's In The Box:

The product includes a vial of the lyophilized surfactant. When purchased in a combo pack, the surfactant vial is included with a vial of the lyophilized enzyme (trypsin/chymotrypsin), and one vial each of the corresponding resuspension buffer and 2X reaction buffer.
